Pregnancy Week 37: End of Work

Today marks the 1st day of my annual leave and maternity leave will only start on the day of labour. Finally, after pressing on and bearing with mid-day fatigue for the past few weeks of my 3rd trimester, I can finally rest.

To be honest, I have mixed feelings about stopping work. I worry that I may not be able to pick up the pace or having to re-adapt when I return to work. Yet at the same time, I need not worry about achieving sales targets and yet getting paid at the same time.

I also worry about how was I supposed to pass 3 weeks of window period while waiting for my baby to pop. Here is a list of what I can think of.

To-Do-List:
1. Pack hospital bag
2. Pack and set up room (To be receive baby anytime)
3. Finish reading breastfeeding book before baby pops
4. Revise and practice breathing technique and body toning exercises
5. Rest, rest and REST !

By the way, I seemed to have stopped gaining weight and my appetite is not as big as before. Nevertheless, I still have sweet tooth and craving for desserts. I think I developed a love for juicy fruits like watermelon, rock melon, oranges, pears.
